#AnnaWasilewski got tired of complaining and decided to start taking matters into her own hands. She bought a couple of litter pickers and wrote on #nebenan , the neighborhood app, that she invites everyone to come clean up with her. Since then, every Friday the neighbors meet. Like true Berliners they drink, dance and cleanup. The regular street attendance of the "litterpickers" draws the attention of the people of the Wedding district in Berlin. it stimulates discourse and develops a community via fun social engagement.
