In one of our darkest moments. When the phrase world war 3 suddenly seems to pop up in every corner. When memories of a shameful time arise and hope is challenged. The good ones emerge. This week I was wandering around the streets of Berlin and saw a huge amount of wonderful people devoting their heart, time and energy to help the people of Ukraine. These volunteers are representing humanity at its best. They are everywhere. They are out on the streets screaming stop Putin stop war and singing Ukraines national anthem. They help bring people out of the fighting zone. They help refugees from the moment they get out of the train. They gather supplies, create meeting places, translate, offer their homes and something to eat. This week's film is an homage to all of them. There is still a lot more that needs to be done.
