In unserer neuen Folge erforschen wir die unglaubliche Macht der Zusammenarbeit. Wir begleiten ein einzigartiges Event, bei dem drei große Unternehmensnetzwerke in Berlin ihre Kräfte bündelten, um ihr Wissen, ihre Expertise und ihre Fähigkeiten zu teilen und wichtige Probleme der Stadt anzugehen. Dieses Event fand im historischen Haus des Künstlers Max Liebermann statt und war mehr als nur ein Treffen – es war eine Mission, soziale Wirkung zu erzielen. Im Rahmen eines strukturierten Prozesses tauschten die Teilnehmer Ideen aus, arbeiteten zusammen und verwandelten Erkenntnisse in umsetzbare Pläne. Diese Folge zeigt, wie Unternehmen wachsen und positive Veränderungen bewirken, nicht indem sie isoliert konkurrieren, sondern indem sie Ressourcen teilen und gemeinsam reale Herausforderungen lösen. Das Ergebnis? Ein Welleneffekt, von dem nicht nur die beteiligten Unternehmen, sondern auch die breitere Gemeinschaft profitieren. Entdeckt, wie Zusammenarbeit der Schlüssel zu sinnvoller Wirkung sein kann, und erfahrt, wie ihr diese Erkenntnisse auf eurem eigenen Weg anwenden könnt.

"Wo kämen wir denn da hin, wenn jeder machen kann, was er will?” — Vielleicht aber liegt darin genau der Schlüssel – zu Selbst-Erkenntnis, Weiterentwicklung und der Überwindung von persönlichen Problemen. In unserer neuen Folge lernen wir Mohammad & Hussein Eliraqui und die ACT Theatergruppe kennen. Jugendliche entwickeln hier gemeinsam Theaterstücke auf Grundlage des “Veto Prinzips” zu Themen, die ihnen unter den Nägeln brennen. Die Faustregel ist hierbei: alle können hier machen (oder lassen), was sie wollen. Und zwar in einem bestimmten Rahmen. Durch diese Vorgehensweise wird die Eigenverantwortung und Selbstreflexion der Teilnehmenden angeregt. Die Ergebnisse sind faszinierend, mal provokant und mal ergreifend. Wir haben die Arbeit der Gruppe an ihrem neuen Stück “Zuflucht” begleitet. Seht selbst.

Ich beschloss, die nächsten anderthalb Jahre meines Lebens damit zu verbringen, gute Taten zu tun und zu fördern. Warum? Die Antwort ist im Film.

Über den menschlichen Geist. Der „Zug der Liebe“ ist ein Zeichen der Liebe und Solidarität. Im Jahr 2021 wurde es gestoppt, weil sich die Menschen nicht an die Corona-Regeln gehalten haben. Anstelle der Demonstrationen hat eine illegale Party begonnen.

Fünf Wochen nach der Überschwemmung in Deutschland schloss ich mich den Helfern an, die ihr Bestes geben, um den Wiederaufbau zu unterstützen und den Opfern zur Seite zu stehen.

Über unbewusste Voreingenommenheit und darüber, dass ich ein Jude in einer Kiste bin.

Technologie und ihre Auswirkungen auf uns.

Ich fand meine alte Polaroidkamera und beschloss, diese gut zu nutzen. Der Plan bestand darin, Passanten ein Polaroidfoto zu schenken. Das Problem war, dass meine Kamera zu alt ist und ich den Film nicht rechtzeitig für unseren Drehtag bekommen konnte. In letzter Minute kam mir ein „Guter“ zu Hilfe.

Meine Frau und ich haben etwa 15 Kilo Äpfel vom Feld gerettet. Statt diese aufm Feld vergammeln zu lassen, machten wir einen ganzen Haufen Apfelstreusel und gaben ihn Leuten, die aussahen, als könnten sie ihn gebrauchen.

Diese Woche wollte ich etwas tun, das außerhalb meiner Komfortzone liegt. Ich wollte einem Straßenjongleur helfen. Das einzige Problem war, dass ich nicht jonglieren kann. Arbenita, eine Straßenkünstlerin, lud mich ein, mich ihr anzuschließen und zu sehen, ob ich ihr Einkommen verbessern kann. An diesem Tag lernte ich das Jonglieren und auch das eine oder andere über das Leben.

Statt Kaufen einfach ausdrucken: Shuki hatte ein Problem. Er musste im Zug mit seinem Laptop arbeiten, doch der Abstand zwischen Stuhl und Tisch war zu groß. Also entwarf er ein einfaches Produkt, das das Problem löst, und druckte es dann in 3D aus. Shuki hätte dieses Produkt zu einem guten Geschäft machen können, aber er beschloss, es kostenlos zu verschenken und teilte die Pläne online.

Die 40-Stunden-Woche wurde uns erstmals in den 1920er Jahren von Henry Ford vorgestellt. Damals war es gut, aber das heißt nicht, dass es so bleiben soll. Ich habe einige Freunde nach ihrer Zeit gefragt. Ich wollte wissen, wie sie es verwenden und wie sie es verwenden würden – wenn sie weniger arbeiten könnten.

Ich habe am ersten Tag von Chanukka, dem jüdischen Lichtfest, ein Pop-up-Event ins Leben gerufen. Die Idee bestand darin, Menschen zu versammeln und gemeinsam die erste der 8 Kerzen anzuzünden. Nach der Zeremonie verschenkten wir kostenlose hausgemachte „Sufganiyot“ (Berliner) an Passanten.

Um den Welttoilettentag zu feiern, lud ich Freunde und einige Leute, die ich im Park traf, ein, um „Die Reise nach Jerusalem“ zu spielen. Statt auf Stühlen spielten wir auf Toiletten.

Ich habe mich freiwillig gemeldet, um Jan aus einem Nachbarschaftshaus in Berlin zu helfen und eine Spende von 1500 Thermosflaschen an Obdachlosenunterkünfte zu verteilen. Ich habe so wundervolle „Guten“ kennengelernt und etwas über die Weihnachtsstimmung gelernt.

Mitte 2021 habe ich beschlossen, mich wieder meiner ersten Liebe zu widmen – dem Erstellen von Videos und Filmen mit Bedeutung für die nächsten anderthalb Jahre. Auf meinem Weg hatte ich Hilfe – gutherzige Menschen in meinem Leben. Finde im Video heraus, woher meine Motivation kam.

Nachdem er den israelischen „Big Brother“ verlassen hatte, erkannte Asif Elkayam, dass er über viel Macht und Einfluss verfügt. Er beschloss, sie zu nutzen und Menschen mit psychischen Problemen dabei zu helfen, Teil von Freiwilligengruppen in Tansania zu werden. Nach langem Ringen um die Verwirklichung dieses Ziels ging im Dezember 2021 das erste Pilotprogramm auf den Weg. In den folgenden zwei Wochen hatten die Mitglieder der Hilfsdelegation einen anspruchsvollen Zeitplan zu bewältigen. Sie renovierten Schulen, kümmerten sich um Kinder und waren mit ungewohnten Bedingungen konfrontiert. Erfahre im Video, wie es ihnen gelungen ist, ihre Schwierigkeiten zu überwinden und Durchbrüche in ihren therapeutischen Prozessen zu erleben. 

In einem unserer dunkelsten Momente. Wenn der Begriff „3. Weltkrieg“ plötzlich in jeder Ecke aufzutauchen scheint. Wenn Erinnerungen an eine beschämende Zeit aufkommen und die Hoffnung in Frage gestellt wird. Die Guten kommen zum Vorschein. Diese Woche bin ich durch die Straßen Berlins geschlendert und habe eine Menge wundervoller Menschen gesehen, die ihr Herz, ihre Zeit und ihre Energie dafür eingesetzt haben, den Menschen in der Ukraine zu helfen. Diese Freiwilligen repräsentieren die Menschheit von ihrer besten Seite. Sie sind überall. Sie sind auf der Straße und schreien „Stoppt Putin, stoppt den Krieg“ und singen die Nationalhymne der Ukraine. Sie helfen dabei, Menschen aus der Kampfzone zu bringen. Sie helfen Flüchtlingen vom ersten Moment an, wenn sie aus dem Zug steigen. Sie sammeln Vorräte, schaffen Treffpunkte, übersetzen, bieten ihre Häuser und etwas zu essen an. Der Film dieser Woche ist eine Hommage an sie alle. Es gibt noch viel zu tun.

A month ago I took on a well being challenge. The idea was pretty simple. I planed to use the first 10 minutes of every day to practice the asian squat. My goal was to be able to sit comfortably for at least 5 minutes. At the end of the day I had to answer two questions: What are the 3 things that went well today? And was was my role in them. Like in physical training, answering the same questions every day was a way to use repetitive action to strengthen my ability to confront the “negativity bias”. It was suppose to be a fun challenge An achievable start. A way to incorporate healthy and supportive habits to my daily routine. When I started this challenge, I thought that it would be a piece of cake for me. As it turns out, it was much harder than what I expected.

The Asian squat is supposed to be a very simple thing, but I just can’t do it. Years ago it wasn’t a problem, but I have neglected my physical well-being for too long. So, I decided to finally do something about it and start a 30 days challenge. My challenge will not only be a physical challenge. I will also tackle the mental part of my well-being and try to give my brain tools to cope with the negative bias. We decided to bring a Cotton candy machine to the Ökomarkt (Schillermarkt) on Herrfurthplatz in Berlin Neuköln. When we started, we discovered that the only thing better then eating cotton candy - is making it. So we had an idea. Sometimes our mind is like a balloon. drifting and controlled by other influences. When things go our way we feel happy. If not, we feel sad. Our whole life we aspire to be happy, but the problem is, that normally, our state of happiness is influenced by external circumstances. It is determined by people and events that are out of our control. So what can we do about it? How can we make happiness sustainable? For the International day of happiness 2022, I want to remind you that Happiness and unhappiness are things that come from within us. They are no more than a state of mind and therefore their real cause can not be found outside. 

Sumatra is one of the "Sunda" Islands of western Indonesia. It is a beautiful place and even though it lost almost 50% of its tropical rainforest in the last 35 years. It still has a wide range of plant and animal species. What it also has is trash. And lots of it. This trash contaminates the water, creates diseases, and hurts the plants and the population. It is destructive and useless. But what if you could change it? But what if you could collect this trash and exchange it for a warm meal? And if you do, What would you do with so much trash? Would it be possible to reuse it in an original and sustainable way? This week, I met Nadine, one of the creators of the NGO “Project Wings”. A Berlin Koblenz based project that aims to make the issue of recycling and environmental protection socially acceptable. With their unique concept to handle plastic pollution, they managed to create a “green economy” in which plastic pollution is used as a commodity. They are buying “Eco bricks” from the locals and are using this trash to build the largest recycling village on the planet. With a big net of Volunteers and investors they manage to create an impact in Sumatra and give it hope for a better, clean and sustainable future. 

There is a youtube channel that I find very interesting. It’s called Stranger kitchens. Every episode they make dinner in a stranger’s home. I always wanted to try it myself and when I met Thore, I knew that the time had come. Thore Hildebrandt is a creative zero-waste chef. Together we decided that for the meal we would only use rescued food, so not only that we had to find strangers and get them to invite us to their homes but we also had to find the food to cook for them. Which means - we had a busy day… 

For the world bee day 2022, I have talked to Radesh Mohandas, one of the 3 founders of the NGO the Asiatic Bee Institute. For him “save the bees” is a life mission. In his bees health center/hospital he fights daily to help sick bees from a cureless deadly virus.

In this episode I met Elena who taught me how to extract the natural color from plants and wild weeds and use it to paint fabrics . It turns out that even the city has a lot to offer us, if we just open our eyes… 

“1982 Hilft” is a group of Hertha fans from all corners of the city, different parts of the stadium and different backgrounds. In addition to the love for the “old lady”, they are united by the desire to make Berlin a better place. I joined Andre, one of the founders of this organization in his weekly “Soup tour” for homeless people and a great game between Hertha and Hamburg. 

I decided to learn how to hula hoop. In public, near the Brandenburg Gate, one of the most visited places in Berlin. In the beginning there were just my teacher Dunja, a master hula hopper and me. Afterwards … well let’s say that there were a lot of children there. 

Zato lost his eyesight not long ago. When it happened he fell into a deep depression. With the help of his loving girlfriend Justine, he found a new reason to live - drawing. His Idea, was to draw and share his creations online. Today his social network channels are well on the way for a great success and Zato, is enjoying everything that life has to offer him. No one likes to see food wasted and this week I got to meet some good ones that try to do something about it. The "Essbar" team collects food that is thrown away and saves it in a delightful way. 

The environmental crisis is hard to handle. When we think about it as an individual it may seem impossible, it may feel like there is nothing more to do. But we mustn't forget that we are not alone. Meet "Ozeankind", this wonderful group not only makes cleanup events, but also create games in order to raise awareness and interact with the public. 
 

After a 16 years break, the love parade is back in Berlin, So my friend Ludo and I have decided to use this opportunity to celebrate love and offer people a chance to get married for as long as they like.

So many of us have so much material that we just sore or throw away. But, can we still use our unused materials? Is there a way to bring it back to life ? I have found a place that not only shows that it is possible, it also inspires you to do it yourself. 

This is the wonderful story of 2 refugee women from Ukraine that created a social project in order to help other refugees. it is an example to how one small idea can grow, evolve and make a difference in many peoples lives. 

Our technology has opened the world for us. we can go anywhere, learn anything and meet anyone.But can it be that because we look so far, we forget about our immediate environment? Well I have met a man that thinks that this is a real problem and he is doing something about it. 

This has changed my whole perception of the clothing industry. We buy overpriced items we don't really need from billion dollar companies. After a while we grow tired of it. We store it or throw it away- create more waste and help rich people be even richer. I have found a place that has an idea that can change that. 
 

Nowadays we all go to school for free, but the accessories that help us learn are not so cheap. For some of us, it is a hard financial blow, especially the first class. As a result a lot of children have to start school with a sad face and bare hands. It doesn't have to be that way. This week I met some wonderful “good ones” who decided to give more children an opportunity to smile.

This week, I have joined them for their daily tour and was amazed to see how busy are they and how much we should support them. The wildlife rescuers are on duty 24 hours a day. We have to help them to keep helping!

Jede:r hat etwas zu bieten. Sie inspirieren uns zu der Erkenntnis, dass es nie zu spät ist, neue Träume und Leidenschaften zu entdecken - egal wie alt wir sind. Alles, was es braucht, ist ein wenig Hilfe. – 

Die "Papillons" werden unterstützt von @unionhilfswerk und @die.freiwilligen.berlin – Ein neues Stück ist bereits für 2024 geplant. Und Hilfe wird gebraucht. Wenn du sie als Freiwillige:r unterstützen möchtest, melde dich einfach! Mache jeden Tag einzigartig und schaffe Träume und Erinnerungen, die bleiben.

Wir haben dieses Jahr am "Tag der Hoffnung" in München teilgenommen und es war eine tolle Erfahrung. Guy verteilte kostenlose Umarmungen am "meet THE GOOD ONES"-Stand. Die Erfahrungen und die unglaublichen Menschen, die wir dort getroffen haben, haben uns zu der Idee inspiriert, dass wir alle mehr Verbindung und Gemeinschaft brauchen, besonders wenn wir die Welt zum Besseren verändern wollen.

Wir alle wollen positive Veränderungen, aber wenn wir uns zusammentun, unsere Ressourcen bündeln, unsere Ideen, unser Wissen und unsere Erfahrungen austauschen, wird unsere Kraft verstärkt und unsere Wirkung vervielfacht.

Aus diesem Grund haben wir "Better Together - Connecting for Good" ins Leben gerufen, eine Gemeinschaft, die Menschen zusammenbringt, die die Welt, ihre Gesellschaft und die Umwelt positiv beeinflussen wollen. Wir wollen uns vernetzen, Erkenntnisse und Erfahrungen austauschen und uns so gegenseitig in unserer Arbeit für das Gute bestärken und inspirieren.

Unsere Gemeinschaft hat den Geist einer Karmakiste. Nimm, wenn du brauchst - gib, wenn du kannst. Wir bringen Good Ones mit unterschiedlichem Hintergrund und verschiedenen Projekten zusammen.
Wir werden monatliche Online-Treffen abhalten, bei denen wir uns über unsere Probleme austauschen. Wir werden uns gegenseitig unterstützen und Wege zur Zusammenarbeit und zum Austausch finden. Wir werden Vorträge, Einzelgespräche, Community-Chats und vielleicht sogar die eine oder andere Herausforderung veranstalten, die Ihnen helfen wird, Projekte zu verwirklichen, die schon viel zu lange auf sich warten lassen.

Schließen Sie sich uns und vielen Gleichgesinnten aus Deutschland und der ganzen Welt an. Lasst uns als starke und vielfältige Gemeinschaft nach dem Guten streben, denn wir sind "Better Together".

Krieg ist die Hölle! - Aber wenn Engel wie die Leute vom „BerlinOdessaExpress“ enorme Risiken und Anstrengungen auf sich nehmen, um auf eigene Faust Hilfsgüter von Deutschland in die Ukraine zu bringen, hinterlassen sie auch eine Spur der Hoffnung und inspirieren die Herzen aller, denen sie begegnen. Unser Freund Rick begleitete sie auf dieser außergewöhnlichen Reise und wurde Zeuge, dass selbst scheinbar kleine Taten der Solidarität und Menschlichkeit eine unglaubliche und wichtige Wirkung haben können.
