For more than a decade, Maor, “The Lego man” had helped relieve the pain of thousands of #kidswithcancer. He comes with a #Lego set and an open heart. With him comes hope and light. Maor always loved Lego. It helped him in hard times as a child. His father was sick for years and Maor used to spend time looking at a window display of lego sets. He dreamt of having a house full of lego and escaped to the imaginary worlds of castles and figures. As a grown man he had fulfilled his dream and he also uses his love for lego to help others. Together with "Ezer mizion" and "Beit Oranit" he had created a heartwarming project. With the use of donations Maor is buying lego sets and gives them to children with cancer . Every day he comes to visit them in the different departments of hospitals around Israel. They spend time together , talk, build legos and become friends. Working on a complicated lego set takes time and concentration. When building, the pain is fading away. Maor says he is just playing with children but the hospital staff are saying that the lego man’s #gooddeeds are improving the life quality and health of the children.
